RISKWISE - Risk Based Inspection and Maintenance (RBI and RBM) Software

The American Petroleum Institute has published a new Recommended Practice API RP580 on Risk Based Inspection (RBI). In 1998, TWI developed a software management system called RISKWISE™ as a tool for implementing Risk Based Inspection (RBI). RISKCalc™ is the API RP580 Level 1 compliant offspring of RISKWISE™ and forms a module within the inspection data management software - UltraPIPE®.

RISKCalc™ is the new Risk Based Inspection (RBI) module for UltraPIPE®. It offers intuitive features:

automatically ranks all inspection activities with Risk Based Inspection (RBI) sensitive intervals
prints inspection plans showing assigned damage mechanisms and inspection types
conforms to API-580
provides activity reports which update failure likelihood, effectiveness of inspections etc.
generates listing of high risk equipment for further evaluation

What will you learn?

TWI are training users of UltraPIPE® to implement and use RISKCalc™ to develop their inspection management system in accordance with the American Petroleum Institute's new Recommended Practice on Risk Based Inspection (RBI) API RP580.
