Course
- Film quality: covers film identification, calibrating and setting film density, the sensitivity of radiographic film and a description of film artefacts
- Radiographic techniques: this section makes extensive use of 3D animations to illustrate the different techniques, including single wall, panoramic and double wall techniques
- Weld quality: this section describes and shows the possible radiographic images produced by external and internal weld defects.
Course examination
The student can undertake a self-assessment test of ten radiographs, which gives a percentage success score and then permits review of the correct solution for each radiograph on completion of the test.
